Cashless Society Concerns

The ubiquity of credit cards is already bad enough.  How the Unions allowed employers to move to direct deposit of wages was the thin edge of the wedge.  These two factors have been major contributors, in my opinion, to the growth of personal debt and a false view of worth allied to a materialistic, “have it now” society that encourages debt, even revels in it, to the benefit of the top 1% and the detriment of everyone else.
